Data Controllers

When you download the Rahtak App and/or Rahtak Provider App, "راحتك | Rahtak" will be the data controller for the Personal Data you provide during registration and any other personal data you submit to manage your account in order to use the "راحتك | Rahtak" platform.

Depending on the services you use, we collect and process:

A. Information You Provide to Us

Whether you are a Customer or a Service Provider (such as a plumber, electrician, carpenter, or other technician), you are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. "راحتك | Rahtak" will only update your Personal Data upon your request.

The Personal Data collected in these processes may include your:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Service location address
  • Images, including photos submitted to verify your identity such as through facial verification
  • Identification card (copy) and the information included on it
  • Professional license or work permit (copy) where applicable
  • Other relevant information necessary to deliver the service or that you choose to provide

Use of Personal Data

We may use your Personal Data for purposes including to:

  • Provide, manage, and improve our home maintenance and repair services
  • Verify the professional credentials of Service Providers
  • Facilitate communication between Customers and Service Providers regarding job details, schedules, and pricing
  • Perform internal administration, analytics, and quality assurance
  • Monitor service performance, detect fraudulent activity, and ensure safety

We may also use Personal Data for:

  • Identity verification using submitted documents and photos for safety and compliance
  • Real-time ID verification when a Service Provider goes online to ensure account integrity
  • Matching Service Providers with Customers based service requirements

Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is shared only between Customers and Service Providers as required to perform the booked service.

Storage of Personal Data

We store and retain your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for legitimate business needs.

We may retain data for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Following an account deletion request, we will delete or archive your Personal Data unless retention is legally required or related to an ongoing dispute or claim.

Mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) require your consent before apps can access certain data such as location services or notifications. You may manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.
